Suspect Arrested in Connection with North Area Sacramento Shooting, Stockton Man Faces Homicide Charges

The Sacramento Police Department arrested 24-year-old Randy Liming of Stockton last Thursday in connection with a deadly shooting that happened early on June 29 in the North Area of Sacramento. The arrest was made with help from specialty teams and Stockton police, according to the Sacramento Police Department on their X account. Liming is being held at the Sacramento County Main Jail on homicide-related charges.

A man was shot and killed around 3:45 a.m. at Mahogany Street and North Avenue. Emergency crews responded, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police gathered evidence and interviewed witnesses. No suspect information was released, but authorities are asking anyone with information to come forward.
