Tracy man indicted by federal grand jury on illegal firearms trafficking charges

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – A federal grand jury has indicted 41-year-old Rueben Phill of Tracy on three counts related to illegal firearms trafficking and possession.

Acting U.S. Attorney Kimberly A. Sanchez announced the three-count indictment.

Phill is accused of working with Alejandra Castillo, 34, also from Tracy, to traffic firearms from Nevada to California between August 2023 and August 2024. The firearms were allegedly sold on the black market…
