A tentative agreement by striking workers in Stockton was reached late Friday, so local drivers confirmed they would be back on the job Saturday.
A nationwide strike by Republic Services waste disposal workers began earlier this month when Teamsters Local 439 members in Stockton walked off the job. Republic Services workers in several Bay Area cities joined the strike in solidarity.
