NABC Donates Recycled Ride to Deserving Sacramento Mom

The National Auto Body Council (NABC), along with Allstate and Fabian’s Collision, recently donated a refurbished vehicle to a deserving Sacramento mother to enable her to get to work and care for her family. The presentation was made possible by the NABC’s Recycled Rides program, car donor Allstate and repair partner Fabian’s Collision.

The presentation took place at the Fabian’s Collision location in Stockton, Calif., with a crowd of Allstate employees, Fabian’s Collision team members and other partners in attendance.

“Thank you to Olive for allowing us to be part of such a special moment with you and your family,” said Anthony Correa, auto claim service leader at Allstate. “It was an honor to support you, and we hope the experience has brought a lot of joy and comfort your way. Thanks for the partnership with the National Auto Body Council and Fabian’s Collision to make this happen.”

Olive Arnold, who was presented a 2017 Mazda CX-5, is an extraordinary woman who has shown remarkable strength and dedication in every aspect of her life. As a hardworking mother of two, she runs her own cleaning service that requires her to do a lot of driving. Unfortunately, she was driving a vehicle that was over 20 years old and increasingly unreliable, causing stress and uncertainty in her daily life and threatening the source of her income. Despite the urging of her mechanic to purchase a newer vehicle, Olive had to continue driving it due to limited funds. Parts were hard to come by, and the heater no longer worked.
