Modesto man dies in early-morning crash at Floyd and Roselle roundabout

A Modesto man died early Thursday after his vehicle crashed in the roundabout at Floyd and Roselle avenues, police said.

Shortly after midnight, Modesto police officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash and found the driver, 78-year-old James Brock of Modesto, unresponsive inside the vehicle, according to department spokeswoman Sharon Bear. Despite lifesaving efforts, Brock was pronounced dead at the scene.
