Three students hit by cars in two months in Lathrop

LATHROP, Calif. — Police in Lathrop are urging drivers to slow down and stay alert as officers investigate a troubling rise in crashes involving students and cars.

In a city of about 40,000, police say three students have been hit by vehicles in just two months — a trend that has Lathrop Police Chief Stephen Sealy concerned.
