STOCKTON, Calif. (KTXL) – University of the Pacific is bringing back men’s volleyball, a sport that was cut on campus more than a decade ago.
It had been played for 21 years before it was eliminated. It will return in the spring of 2027.
“Pacific men’s volleyball has a proud legacy, and it’s fantastic and appropriate to see the program return,” said Karch Kiraly, the head coach of the U.S. Men’s National Team, in a news release. “Pacific is positioned to recruit nationally, and I’m confident the program can rise quickly.”…
