East Bay man arrested in S.F. in fatal stabbing of roommate

A Livermore man with an extensive criminal history has been charged with murder in the fatal stabbing of his roommate after officers located the suspect in San Francisco, authorities said.

Brayam Chirinos, 30, was booked into Santa Rita Jail on Wednesday on suspicion of killing his 55-year-old roommate after officers found him driving the victim’s vehicle, according to the Livermore Police Department, which was aided by San Francisco investigators.

Chirinos was charged with murder Friday and was scheduled to be arraigned Monday, his 31st birthday, according to court records…
