Community organizations bring healing resources after Stockton birthday-party shooting

STOCKTON, Calif — In the wake of a mass shooting at a 2-year-old’s birthday party, Stockton organizations are coming together to help the community begin healing. The gathering, called “Heal Stockton,” aims to unite families touched by violence and give them a place to grieve and find support.

Organizers told ABC10 that many people are already dealing with enough and may not have the time or knowledge to seek out resources on their own. By hosting the event at Victory In Praise – Community Development Center on Harding Way, they hope to bring those resources directly to residents.
