Lodi Man Accused of Attempted Murder After Admitting to Warehouse Shooting

A 29-year-old man is currently in critical, yet stable condition following a shooting in Lodi on Saturday night. According to KCRA, Lodi police were called to a warehouse on Houston Lane around 9:47 p.m., with the caller reporting the incident and abruptly hanging up afterwards.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers found the victim with a gunshot wound in a warehouse. The injured man was then swiftly taken to the hospital to get emergency care. Reports from the Lodi Police Department indicate that 27-year-old Vladimir Flores was at the scene and admitted to having committed the shooting. “Police say Vladimir Flores admitted to shooting a 29-year-old man inside a nearby warehouse just before 10 p.m. in the 100 block of Houston Street,” as per a narrative obtained by ABC10.

Following the admission, Flores was taken into custody and now faces charges of attempted murder and weapons violations, with his jail booking confirmed at the San Joaquin County Jail.
