Two charged after CHP seizes 108 pounds of meth on Interstate 5 in San Joaquin County

SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, Calif. — Prosecutors in San Joaquin County have filed charges against two people after the California Highway Patrol seized more than 108 pounds of methamphetamine during a traffic stop, authorities said.

The San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office announced that charges were filed against Jerica Anderson and Rochelle Beck following a Jan. 5 traffic stop on northbound Interstate 5, just south of Highway 12.

According to the release, CHP officers stopped the vehicle around 3:15 p.m., identifying Anderson as the driver and Beck as the passenger. Officials said they had conflicting statements about where they were traveling from and where they were headed…
