City hiring summer lifeguards for local pools
The City of Stockton Community Services Department is now accepting applications for lifeguard positions this summer. Applicants can earn their American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification at no cost while gaining leadership and teamwork experience. Positions offer flexible schedules and opportunities for advancement.
Lifeguards may work at Brooking Park, Holiday Park, McKinley Park, Victory Park, or the Weston Ranch High School Pool. Applicants must be 15 years or older, able to swim 300 yards, tread water for 2 minutes, and retrieve a 10-pound brick from 10 feet deep. Training includes First Aid, CPR/AED, and Title 22 courses.
