March 8, 2026 – Modesto, CA – Modesto Police Department officials report that on Friday, March 6, 2026, shortly before 10:00 p.m., Modesto Police officers responded to the area of La Loma Avenue and Morton Boulevard for a report of a vehicle collision.
When officers arrived, they located a motorcyclist who had been struck by a vehicle. The involved vehicle was not at the scene when officers arrived. The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital where, sadly, the motorcyclist succumbed to their injuries.
The vehicle believed to be involved in the collision has since been located. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation, and the Modesto Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit is continuing to investigate what occurred and the involvement of the driver…
