LIVERMORE — A Texas car sales company has bought several auto dealerships and multiple properties in Livermore, deals that give the vehicle retailer a big foothold in the East Bay.
Houston-based automotive retailer LAPIS Blue has paid $68 million to buy two Livermore sites on Las Positas Road, according to documents filed on March 18 with the Alameda County Recorder’s Office.
LAPIS Blue also bought the Porsche Livermore, Land Rover Livermore, Audi Livermore, and Livermore Honda auto dealerships from another vehicle retailer, Umansky Auto Group, according to Todd Blue, chief executive officer of LAPIS Blue.
The properties have addresses of 3100, 3200, 3400, 3500 and 3600 Las Positas Road, the county real estate records show.
