Order of protection issued in Syracuse exploding vending machine case

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — An order of protection was issued in a case of an exploding vending machine.

The order of protection is against Bay E. Rosario, 30. He is one of two defendants named in the case. He was charged with arson for allegedly helping plant an explosive device inside a vending machine in an office building at 404 Oak St. on April 10.

Rosario was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon for allegedly trying to hide a silver .357 Smith & Wesson revolver underneath a Toyota RAV4 that was parked at 110 Wolf St. A criminal complaint noted that Rosario does not have a permit to own a weapon…
