Amputee resident calls Van Duyn conditions ‘questionable’ as family warns she’s at risk

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Sandra Bell said she was placed at Van Duyn after a leg amputation left her without stable housing or accessible care, but she believes conditions inside the facility have been “very questionable.”

“People think I have a bad attitude, which is not the case. But when I find out stuff is not done the way it’s supposed to be, then we have a problem,” Bell said.
