Liverpool Elementary School and Liverpool Middle School lifted their lockouts around 3:24 p.m. on Tuesday. The lockout was initiated earlier in the afternoon following a report of shots fired in the neighborhood.
It was initiated around 3 p.m. A lockout means no one is allowed to enter or exit the building. This is different from a lockdown, which is an emergency shelter-in-place order.
