An updated report from the National Weather Service was issued on Tuesday at 9:24 p.m. for strong thunderstorms until 10:15 p.m. for Cayuga and Onondaga counties.
Residents can anticipate wind gusts of up to 50 mph.
“At 9:24 p.m., Doppler radar tracked a strong thunderstorm over Weedsport, or 7 miles north of Auburn, moving northeast at 15 mph,” states the weather service. “Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.”…
