Syracuse Pre-K closure shocks parents, after school’s license is suspend

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Four-year-old Nico Andrews wasn’t supposed to have his last day of school so early in June, but it did when his preschool abruptly shut down.

His mother and father say they are in shock after the Jowonio School, where Nico is enrolled, sent families a message that their children would not be allowed back at school.

“We came here to take last day of school pictures because his last day of school celebration has been cancelled due to the closure of the school,” said his mother, Vanessa Pagano-Andrews…
