Fulton, N.Y. ― Two people have been charged after 12 dogs had to be rescued from torturous conditions Saturday, police said.
William E. Lawrence, 45, and McKaylee J. Lawrence, 18, have both been charged with 12 counts of overdriving, torturing, and injuring animals, Fulton police said in a news release Thursday. They are also charged with failing to provide proper sustenance.
