Central NY farm in business for more than 80 years faces costly rebuild after fire

Sullivan N.Y. — An 83-year-old farm in Madison County faces a costly rebuild after a devastating fire destroyed two of its greenhouses last week.

The fire broke out shortly after 2 p.m. June 18 at Kubecka Farms at 691 Chestnut Ridge Road in the town of Sullivan. The fire destroyed the farm’s only two greenhouses.
