It’s been nearly a year since Candy’s Diner near Sweetheart Corner was badly damaged by fire.
The former Clam Bar had to be gutted to the studs before renovations could begin. After months of hard work, Candy’s on Route 11 is getting ready to reopen.
Owner Michael Hapgood said the goal is to be open by the end of the month, possibly on July 27…
