SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A Massachusetts man has pleaded guilty to federal charges, including assaulting a federal officer in January, the United States Department of Justice announced.
Cedric E. Cundiff, 68, pleaded guilty in federal court on June 29 to assaulting a federal officer, failing to register as a sex offender and committing a crime of violence while failing to register as a sex offender, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York.
Cundiff was wanted out of Massachusetts on armed robbery charges. He stabbed the investigator who was helping serve a U.S. Marshals Task Force warrant. The stabbing occurred at 2000 Lodi St. in Syracuse on Jan. 29…
