SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Court proceedings continued on Thursday in the case of a man accused of shooting at Syracuse Police Officers.
The defense team for Rodney Vanderpool, 55, sought a mental health examination to be conducted. The exam is scheduled for July 25. The defense’s own mental health expert will be present for Vanderpool’s exam.
