Time is winding down for Amazon to get its drone service up and flying in CNY, after the company pushes back its hearing twice

CLAY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Amazon is aiming to get its drone delivery services off the ground before wintertime, according to Clay leaders, but now the company is making some site plan changes in the interest of time.

“They submitted a request to have an adjournment of two weeks to allow them to prepare new site plans that have a smaller footprint than what they originally proposed,” said Brian Bender, the commissioner of planning and development for the town of Clay.

Bender said the company is hoping to expedite the approval process to make sure things are up and running by winter…
