With New York State Fair naturalization ceremony canceled, a quiet ceremony in the Onondaga County Courthouse

Earlier this year, yet another Onondaga County naturalization ceremony was canceled. This time, it was an annual ceremony typically held at the New York State Fair.

United States Citizenship and Immigration Services had not approved enough new citizens to justify holding it, said Judge Deborah Karaulunas.
