Syracuse Firefighter charged with rape of minor, released from jail

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Syracuse Firefighter accused of raping a child.

The sheriff’s office said it charged Jeremy W. Warters, 25, with two counts of rape in the third degree and one count of endangering the welfare of a child. He was arrested on July 28.
