Sarah Klee Hood, who twice ran for Congress, resigns DeWitt town board seat

DeWitt, N.Y. — Sarah Klee Hood, who twice tried to be a Democratic candidate for Syracuse’s congressional district, has resigned from the DeWitt Town Board effective Monday, Aug. 24.

Klee Hood, who was elected to the board in 2021, said she resigned from her seat because her family has moved to Charlotte, North Carolina.

“When I ran for Congress, it was a lot on my family and my husband,” she told syracuse.com | The Post-Standard Tuesday morning. “I told my husband if an opportunity came up for him we would take it, and it did.”…
