People living in Manlius were left a bit salty when Salt City Bread closed last spring. The popular bakery and sandwich shop was located off Cazenovia Road, in the shopping plaza near Walgreens.
After sitting empty for a few months, something new is about to be on the menu. Sammy’s NYC Grill is moving in.
If that name sounds familiar, it’s because there’s already a Sammy’s NYC Deli and Grill off South Main Street in the Village of North Syracuse. It’s been open for about a year.
Sammy Khubani is the owner. Before moving to Syracuse a few years ago, he lived in New York City, where he grew up in the deli business.
