Baldwinsville, N.Y. — Legendary Syracuse auctioneer Bernie Brzostek is calling it quits after a 53-year career spanning 8,700 auctions across Upstate New York.
The fast-talking 72-year-old is retiring and says he plans to move to South Carolina with his wife Wendy to enjoy the warmer climate and be closer to their daughter Priscilla.
