SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Wegmans announced Monday it is offering a Thanksgiving meal package for eight people at less than $5 per person, matching the price of its holiday meal deal from last year.
The offer follows a Wegmans survey conducted Oct. 6-8 among 5,695 members of its customer feedback community, The Wegmans Insiders. The survey found that 87% of customers planning to host Thanksgiving are concerned about food costs, while 72% said obtaining high quality is more important than finding the lowest price.
The 16-item meal package features a 13-pound Shady Brook Farms frozen turkey, a twin pack of Stove Top stuffing mix, McCormick brown gravy mix, Jiffy corn muffin mix, Sara Lee frozen pumpkin pie, a 5-pound bag of Russet potatoes, 3 pounds of yams and a 2-pound bag of yellow onions. It also includes Wegmans brand items such as dinner rolls, chicken stock, canned corn, cut green beans, french fried onions, cream of mushroom soup, macaroni and cheese and jellied cranberry sauce…
