Syracuse, N.Y. — After 136 years, M. Lemp Jewelers is going out of business.
Don Lemp, the store’s fourth-generation owner, announced in a flyer on Facebook that he is retiring and closing the store on Warren St. in downtown Syracuse.
“For more than four generations, our commitment to quality, personal service, and helping our customers celebrate life’s most meaningful moments has remained at the heart of everything we do,” said Lemp in the post.
“We are incredibly grateful for the friendships we have made, the families who have trusted us with their most treasured pieces, and the generations of customers who have made M. Lemp Jewelers part of their lives.”…
