Cost to build sewer line in Clay more than doubles – and it’s not because of Micron

Syracuse, N.Y. – The cost of building a new sewer line in the town of Clay has ballooned from $16 million to $35 million. And the reason has nothing to do with Micron Technology’s plans to build a massive semiconductor plant across the street from the pumping station for the sewer line, said Eric Schuler, deputy commissioner for the Onondaga County Water Environment Protection Department.
