Handgun found after officers stop car for broken tail lights in Syracuse, police say

Syracuse, N.Y. — A loaded handgun was found in a vehicle Sunday after officers stopped a car in Syracuse for having no taillights, police said. Around 9:13 p.m., officers were patrolling in the 1100 block of Midland Avenue when they saw a Toyota Camry without taillights, according to a Syracuse Police Department Facebook post.
