Man pleads guilty to fatal stabbing of Syracuse man in exchange for less time in prison

Syracuse, N.Y. ― A Syracuse man Thursday admitted he stabbed a man to death as part of a plea deal that means he will spend less time in prison. Christopher Bieling, 48, pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in exchange for a sentence of 12 years in state prison, said Onondaga County Chief Assistant District Attorney Robert Moran.
