SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) – If you’ve ever traveled from James Street to downtown Syracuse, you’ll have passed one of the oldest landmarks in the city. The Snowdon Apartments, located on 400 James St., are one of the 25 oldest and original buildings on James Street, dating back to 1902 when the apartment building replaced a girl’s academy that had long stood on the site.
