69-year-old woman airlifted to Syracuse after crashing into utility pole

TOWN OF WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) – One woman was flown to a Syracuse hospital after she crashed her car into a pole just outside Watertown. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says 69-year-old Dorinda Stanford may have experienced an unknown medical emergency when she veered off the road on New York State Route 126 and struck a utility pole at the corner of Slate Road.
