Syracuse city council postpones vote on proposed 3% pay raise for non-union city employees

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse Common Council postponed its vote to increase the pay for non-union city employees at their meeting on Monday. The proposal to give non-union workers a 3% pay raise came from Mayor Ben Walsh’s office. Chief Operating Officer Corey Driscoll Dunham said it was approved in last year’s city budget.
