The National Weather Service issued an updated weather alert at 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday for heavy snow until 7:45 p.m. for Oneida, Onondaga and Madison counties. “At 7:04 p.m., a band of heavy snow was over Liverpool, or near Syracuse moving east at 35 MPH,” according to the weather service.
