Man found guilty of killing Syracuse father shot while waiting to pick up his daughters

Syracuse, N.Y. — A 31-year-old man was found guilty Wednesday in the fatal shooting of a Syracuse father while he was waiting to pick up his young daughters from a party. Jaquell L. Bailey, of Syracuse, was convicted of second-degree murder for working with Lionel Brown to kill Shakeale Hill, 29, while he was sitting in his truck outside 1114 W. Colvin St. on Dec. 18, 2021. It unclear who fired the fatal shot.
