Central NY judge resigns after pleading guilty to selling drugs

Albany, N.Y. – A Central New York judge who pleaded guilty to selling drugs has resigned his position on the bench and agreed not to seek it again. Mitchell Soules Jr., a justice of the Little Falls Town Court, pleaded guilty on April 17 to third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony. He resigned the same day, according to the state Commission on Judicial Conduct.
