Syracuse, N.Y. – A man Thursday turned himself in to police for a shooting that left a 43-year-old man dead in Syracuse this week, police said. Dashontay Kirkland, 32, turned himself in at the Public Safety Building. He’s being held at the Onondaga County Justice Center where he’s awaiting arraignment on second-degree murder and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon charges.
