Syracuse duo arrested after drugs allegedly found in St. Lawrence Co. traffic stop

MORRISTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) – Two people from Syracuse were arrested after a traffic stop in St. Lawrence County on Thursday.

According to New York State Police, Troopers pulled over a 2017 black Audi traveling north on State Highway 37 in the town of Morristown just after 9:40 p.m. August 1.

St. Lawrence County man accused of setting multiple fires

State police stopped a car operated by 28-year-old Devon Delee with 27-year-old Lisia Noel as a passenger. Troopers interviewed the driver and the passenger and a further investigation found drug paraphernalia, identified as heroin inside of the vehicle.

Both were arrested and transported to the state police headquarters in Ogdensburg for processing. They were arraigned in the Town of Morristown Court where they were later released on their own recognizance.

State police were aided by the St. Lawrence County Sheriffs Department in the investigation.
