NYS Fair makes final concert announcement, adding a famous rapper to their lineup

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Less than a month before the start of the 2024 New York State Fair, Rick Ross has been scheduled to play Suburban Park on September 1 at 8 p.m.

“We’ve now announced the complete entertainment lineup for The Chevrolet Music Series in Chevy Court and Suburban Park and can’t wait to watch fairgoers enjoy all that The Fair has to offer this year. With world-class grounds entertainment, national recording artists, delicious food and beverage choices, and the very best of New York State agriculture all at your fingertips, The Fair is the place to be. We can’t wait to welcome everyone!” said Fair Director, Julie LaFave.

Some of the rapper’s more popular songs include, “Everyday Hustle,” “Aston Martin Music,” “Stay Schemin,” “Hustlin’,” and more.

According to the Fair, Ross has been nominated for a Grammy Award nine times and has won four BET awards in 2008, 2010, 2012, and 2013. Ross also has dozens of multiplatinum certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and five No. 1 debuts on the Billboard Top 200 chart.
