DeWitt, N.Y. — A dump truck was reported to have hit the I-481 bridge above Genesee Street in DeWitt, police said. The dump truck leaving a construction yard was driving west on Genesee Street when it hit an I-481 bridge, Lt. Jerry Pace, a spokesperson for DeWitt police. The dump box was accidentally left raised, he said.
