Syracuse, N.Y. — The forecast for the first weekend of the 2024 New York State Fair is about as good as Central New Yorkers can reasonably expect for late August. Temperatures will be about 70 degrees when the gates open at 10 a.m. and rise into the low 80s Saturday and Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
