Back-to-Back Stabbings Rattle Syracuse: Police Probe Unrelated Incidents on Busy Streets

(WNY News Now) – Syracuse – Two separate stabbings within half an hour in downtown Syracuse leave residents on edge as police investigate the incidents. On Friday, August 23rd, Syracuse police responded to two stabbing incidents that occurred within minutes of each other in different parts of the city. The first occurred at the intersection of South State Street and East Fayette Street around 2:03 p.m., where officers found an adult male with a minor puncture wound to his lower right back. Despite the injury, the victim refused transport to the hospital.
