Village’s sidewalk project delayed until next year

Homer deputy mayor Pat Clune provided updates on the village’s Walkable Homer project. The project is an effort by Homer to replace old sidewalks with new ones in the village. Clune said at Tuesday’s village board of trustees meeting that the department of public works has poured about 4,000 feet in new sidewalk concrete on James Street and Clinton Street this year.
