Never forgotten: Oswego and Syracuse reflect on 9/11’s enduring legacy

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – In communities across the country and right here in Central New York, people are pausing to remember the September 11 terror attacks 23 years later. In Oswego, a sunrise silence procession and remembrance ceremony was held Wednesday morning with people running through the streets of the Port city waving American flags. Officers stood at attention to pay tribute as emergency crews made their way through the streets. Oswego Mayor Robert Corradino addressed the crowd.
