SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The national average price for a gallon of gasoline is $3.21 on Monday, September 16, down six cents from last week. The national average for a gallon of gas is approaching a 3-year low, when gas prices were just over $3.00 to end spring/begin summer in 2021.
